Yesterday was the day of the Bristol blogger meet up and as every meet up is, it was super :) Unfortunately the weather was not on our side, actually I lie, it was when were heading home... typical! I made a short walk to the meeting place and actually didn't get lost :O I found lots of cute little things on the way including this crying little lamp. Rain makes it cry :( I also walked past an outdoor book market and spotted this cute toadstool and mushroom book which I had to buy. It has such dainty illustrations and thought this would be perfect to add to my nature book collection.
I finally made my way to the meeting place to meet the first batch of bloggers. We all meet up for a quick coffee/chat and got my important vanilla latte boost. I am such a massive fan of lattes now compared to a few years ago where I would urge at the very smell. I feel all grown up now ^_^ Our next stop was Nando's where we made the longest line Nando's has probably ever had. Despite the wait we got our well deserved blogger table fit for all of us! That was where we met up with the other fellow bloggers so now it was time for the event to properly begin!
We were all handed our AMAZING goodie bags and I was so overwhelmed with how many gifts were inside. I was constantly looking through my bag throughout the meal and kept finding new treasures along the way. Some serious love heading to all the other ladies who donated items for this :) I gave some charm necklaces complete with business cards. Once we finished our meals and had a quick look around Topshop and we then walked to 'The Lanes' which is a retro bowling alley complete with a lovely little bar and seating area. That was where we all got to know each other a little more and take those all important photos! Unfortunately I got all shy with my camera but many of the other bloggers got snap happy and took a good load including the polaroid photos from the lovely Paige :)
I wish I could have spoken to so many more of you lovelies but I am not going to lie, my nerves did get the better of me at times. I had a bit of a fan girl moment and was as always at a meet, overwhelmed with everything. Yep, I am a shy one but I am sure I can see all these beautiful people again very soon for super fun meet up times :) I came back with such a buzz that I could not focus on anything! To the point where I was eating my dinner and spilt most of it down my top. Carbonara is messy! Roight, goodie bag time! Told you there was a huge mount of super sweet items, didn't I? :)
